These terms cover your use of CamTapes at camtapes.com. Using the site means you agree to them. If you do not agree, leave the site.

Adults only

This site is for adults. You may use it only if you are at least 18 years old and at least the age of majority where you live. You must not use the site where it is illegal.

What this site is

CamTapes is an archive of recordings. The site lists them, describes them, and plays them. Visitors do not upload recordings here. The operator of this site is not the producer of the recordings.

Names, dates, and descriptions are gathered from file names and public listings. They can be wrong. A recording can be hidden or removed at any time.

Acceptable use

Use the site for your own viewing. Do not break, overload, or probe the site. Do not copy the catalog in bulk. Do not use the site to harass anyone or to share anything illegal. Do not bypass a limit, a removal, or an access control.

Recordings and removal

If a recording should come down, use the removal request page and include the page address. The removal address is not published yet. A hidden recording stays out of the archive.

The record-keeping statement is on the 2257 page. The records for a recording are kept by the producer of that recording, at the custodian named on that page.

No warranty

The site and the recordings are provided as they are, and as they are available. There is no promise that the site will be up, that a recording will play, or that a name or date is accurate.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for loss or damage from your use of the site, from a recording, or from the site being unavailable. Some places do not allow these limits. In those places, the limits apply as far as the law allows.

Changes

These terms can be updated by editing this page. The version on this page is the current one. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
